Dance Everyday | Your Online Movement Studio

Dance Everyday Online is the subscription studio within Source and Motion, created by Brazilian interdisciplinary artist and choreographer Vanessa Agle Isaac.

The studio brings together contemporary movement, choreography, musicality, creative exploration, and embodied practice, drawing on decades of artistic research, teaching, and sustained investigation into the knowledge carried through the moving body.

Within this larger landscape, Samba remains an essential source: a living Afro-Brazilian cultural tradition whose intelligence is carried through rhythm, grounding, responsiveness, individuality, and relationship. Here, its movement knowledge enters into conversation with contemporary and Brazilian practices, conditioning, and ongoing exploration.

The result is not simply a library of classes.

It is a practice.

✓ Creative & Exploratory Movement
Contemporary practices that invite curiosity, improvisation and body awareness.

✓ Samba, Afro-Brazilian & Brazilian Movement Practices
Classes and movement studies rooted in Brazilian and Afro-Brazilian traditions, with attention to rhythm, culture, coordination, expression, and the whole moving body.

✓ Master Classes & Guest Artists
Special classes and programs featuring invited artists and teachers, bringing different perspectives, traditions, and approaches into the studio.

✓ Returning to the Source Practices
Meditation, stillness, and embodied awareness practices that create space for listening, reflection, and the impulses from which movement can emerge.

✓ Culture & Inspiration
Articles, short texts, videos, reflections, and selected cultural references that offer context, and deepen connections between movement, music, history, and lived experience.

The studio continues to evolve, with new material added selectively rather than on a fixed schedule. New material enters the studio selectively, allowing the collection to continue evolving while remaining intentionally curated.

Vanessa is more than a dance teacher, she is a true artist. Her teachings honor the roots of Brazilian cultural traditions and her presence radiates beauty in every sense. Vanessa’s dance classes are a pure reflection of her free spirit and grounded soul. It is no exageration, to say, that Vanessa’s class is a life changing experience.

Donna Alonso

Vanessa Isaac has a profound gift for creating a sense of home in the dance. Her love of her country and culture is infectious, so much so, that you want it to be your country and culture too.... Samba is no easy feat, and Vanessa was incredibly patient with me as I learned the cadence of the samba language. I reconnected to the beauty of my body and what it was capable of. Vanessa teaches, encourages, supports and challenges you as you discover who you want to be as a dancer. She is an incredible ambassador for dance and Brazilian culture, but she is also a genuine, kind and loving human being...
